The Eagle's Flight is one of the most interesting events of Venice Carnival

The celebration, that takes place Sunday 2nd March at 11:00 am, recalls the ancient art of Renaissance Theatre Machineries in which Venice was an expert. During the Shows, very frequent during Carnival, it was normal to see flying Turkish, ships, soldiers and even animals!

Watch an actor dressed up as the Eagle fly from the top of Saint Mark's bell tower to the centre of the Square. A breathtaking emotion for all Venice Carnival visitors.
