DESCRIPTIONThe event will take place on Sunday 23rd February. It recalls and ancient acrobatic tribute to the Doge. A secret guest of Venice Carnival, a beautiful girl called "Colombina" will litteraly fly from the top of Saint Mark's Bell Tower to the Centre of saint Mark's Square.
Welcomed in the crowded parterre groups of historical reenactments in costume, at 12 am the first Sunday of Carnival, the Angel melt the tension of the flight in the embrace of the Doge and the public, thrilled by the spectacular show that celebrates always the Carnival of Venice.
A breathtaking event that you can watch from the comfortable heated lounges in Theatre Boxes or in the parterre to see the Angel flying just over your heads.
