After the great success of the Casanova Grand Ball, that was organized last March, the Atelier Marega is glad to present the second edition of the Casanova Grand Ball, this year under the title - Casanova Grand Ball, Love & Fire. The theme chosen for this year is Love and the event will take place on February 14, 2015, Valentine's day, night of lovers, the most passionate night of the year. The noble Casanova was a man of great culture, devoted himself to a military career, he was a poet and biographer but, above all he was a man of love. And who then, if not Giacomo Casanova himself should join us in this sweet and inviting adventure! Casanova will accompany you all the way through this magical Journey of Love in its most varied facets: love sweet and tender, passionate love, love for the game and for good food, and in general - love for life.

The Grand Ball of Casanova, Love & Fire, will be held on February 14, 2015 in the majestic Venetian Palace Ca' Zen, in proximity to the Basilica dei Frari in Venice, Italy. Starting at 8:00 PM, a welcome cocktail will be served to our guests in the courtyard of the palace. Characters from the Commedia del’ Arte will cheer you with their performances for your joy and pleasure. It will be just a beginning of an amazing adventure that will last all night, hand by hand with your charming host - the Casanova. A magnificent Gala Dinner will be served at the tables in the majestic palace along with the finest Italian wines. During a dinner, you will be entertained by extravagant performances, romantic music, and traditional Venetian Commedia del’ Arte plays.

At 11:30 pm the Gran Ballo del Maschera (Grand Masquerade Ball) will start in the nightclub at Palazzo Zen. DJ Andrea will spin her best tunes and animators and dancers will involve you in an overwhelming show. A quite lounge area will be available for guests who would want to relax and enjoy a beauty of the magical Venetian night. Your favorite drinks and traditional Venetian deserts will be served in the open bar all night long.

Dress Code:
Giacomo Casanova period or fantasy costume is the obligatory dress code. Evening dresses and tuxedos are not allowed.
Precious fabrics, brocades, pearls, gibbo and laces…Our costumes and accessories are designed and hand-sewn made -to-measure in Atelier Marega on original 18th and 19th century Venetian models. Atelier Marega gladly offers outstanding for the exquisiteness of fabrics and richness of details, sumptuousness and elegance costumes and all required accessories such as wigs, shoes, capes, and hats for sale or rent.
