DESCRIPTION

Il Ballo del Doge (The Doge’s Ball) is not a simple masquerade party: it is the “ball” par excellence, the most luxurious among the Venice Carnival events and one of the most prestigious parties in the world.

Il Ballo del Doge ("The Doge's Ball"), the most exclusive event of the Carnival of Venice, celebrates its 24th edition on Saturday, February 25, 2017 in the traditional, extraordinary venue of Palazzo Pisani Moretta, historical and majestic palace on the Grand Canal.

Title of the 2017 edition?  "Venice is ... So Splendid, so Magic, so Glam, so You!"

Defined by Vanity Fair as "the event in which every lover of beauty should attend at least once in life" the Ballo del Doge is synonymous of luxury thanks to the excellence of its performances, the extreme attention to scenic details, the sophistication of the menu gourmet, the high level of the participants. Every year, in fact, among the international guests are present stars of the jet set, VIPs of the fashion world and sport, noblemen and noblewomen, artists and businessman whose anonymity is protected by masks and sumptuous costumes.

The magic of the Ballo del Doge - Doge's Ball will welcome the participants from the entrance to the ground floor where, besides the welcome cocktail, will be held the first of the many shows. The evening will continue on the upper floors with gourmet dinner and fine wines, theater performances and music. After dinner the guests will gather in the Piano Nobile to watch the Main Show: a sort of dream that combines theater, dance and music and that will be remembered with enthusiasm by anyone will attend for many years to follow.
After the show, from 00:30 am, guests can go to the ground floor for the disco and open bar.

• View of the Great Show during dinner.
• Open Bar in the Vip Lounge and disco from 00:30 a.m. on the ground floor.
